While every election promise to cut costs ...
COMES THE UNION OF COMMON COPPARESE
far this year has been formed between the towns of Copparese, a 'Union, called the Land and Rivers. What is a union? We would like to give you this answer, but we are not able to. At the moment we are just realizing that is taking powers to individual councils. The Union will manage the social services, housing, one-stop business and building, the Municipal Police and many others among the main services that a municipality should provide to their citizens, obviously with an increase of costs borne by the community, In fact, compared with an initial contribution from the region will continue with a bureaucratic machine weighted only by employees and officials, including from a council composed of 30 councilors which costs from just about € 1500.00 each session. If, as they tell us, this decision was essential to continue to manage the services mentioned, we wonder how they did until now and how they manage to other municipalities of the province also very small, considering that at this moment it is' only existing union in Ferrara. Citizens of the City of Berry, as well as those of other municipalities have expressed through their vote, the will to administer to people "in place" services to be provided. Transferring the management of major services to the Union, has denied councilors to the democratically elected the opportunity to object to decisions taken by a city council, "top" even if not shared and therefore, it is the private citizen to be represented by advisers expressed through the vote. Could it be true that in the next few years the City Council, Berra will discuss only light bulbs were burned, and holes on the roads? We hope not and still hope to have our say on the problems of our country and our people.
